Mission Statement...
Pocket
Sanctuary at Kenyon Ranch, nestled in the secluded foothills
of the Tumacacori Mountains south of Tucson, Arizona offers a
comfortable, residential safe haven to those seeking
psychological and spiritual healing. Often in life, a crisis,
a painful loss, divorce, despair or depression may rob us of
hope and meaning in our lives. At other times when familiar
coping skills have failed, one might feel as if they are
"falling apart", "lost" or "stuck".
At these
crossroads, we offer support, tools, and guidance to
individuals as they move through these difficult times and
explore new ways of seeing themselves. At Pocket Sanctuary, we
believe these situations are "wake up calls" that create
opportunities for life changing growth and transformation.
Our personalized approach is to co-create
with clients the opportunity to step outside their old
patterns and
restrictions
to create a new vision and paradigm for
living. We trust that within each human
soul there is
guidance
and wisdom. Our goal is to provide opportunity for our guests
to rediscover this inner source of power and strength. With
close, personal support each step of the way, clients explore
their feelings, beliefs, and historical wounds, clearing the
path to transformation.
Just as we honor all spiritual paths that
lead to truth, we honor a variety of therapeutic modalities.
Art, bodywork, writing, story telling, and psychotherapy are
just a few of the care options available to guests.
Sanctuaries exist to shelter birds,
wolves and other animals - but where is there a place for
humans to find refuge in times of stress? We have created
Pocket Sanctuary for those who feel they need a place of
healing where they can receive
care and assistance during
difficult times in their lives.
